What this looks like is that one service provider may do your shampoo and finishing touches while your primary stylist does your consultation, cut, and color—but the service experience itself always remains luxurious and seamless. This approach allows us to better accommodate your schedule and preferences, and to assign you the best person for the services you need while maintaining consistent results.
A Non-Tipping Policy
K. Charles has been a non-tipping salon for over 25 years. We believe that our services should be priced fairly—and that our team should be compensated fairly—without the need for additional gratuities. The best way to show your appreciation is to refer us to your friends and family and leave us a positive review.

We’re dedicated to staying at the forefront of the beauty industry. Our team members undergo rigorous training and education to ensure they have the latest skills and knowledge. We also participate in industry events and photoshoots to get outside our bubble and deepen the breadth of our experience. Complimentary Services
As a valued guest, you’ll enjoy complimentary bang trims and neckline clean-ups. These services are available Tuesday through Friday at the top of the hour or half-hour.
Child Safety
We understand that bringing young children to the salon can be challenging. For their safety, we ask that you supervise children while they’re in the salon. Please avoid bringing young children to the service areas and limit the number of people accompanying you to reduce congestion.
Scheduling Appointments
Our friendly Guest Services team can easily schedule your appointment at any of our three San Anotnio area salon locations. We can also access your service history to ensure a seamless experience. We recommend scheduling your future maintenance appointments before you leave the salon, and getting ahead of upcoming special events, vacations or holidays to ensure you have your me-time on the books!

Credit Card Processing Fees
Due to recent changes in the industry, we’ve implemented a small credit card processing fee. This fee is passed on to customers to help offset the increasing costs of doing business. We encourage our guests to consider alternative payment methods, such as cash, check, or purchasing a gift card, in order to avoid this fee.
