Earth Month is a great time to reflect on the importance of environmental sustainability and the ways we can take action to make a positive impact on our planet. At K Charles Salon, we are passionate about sustainability and believe that everyone can make a difference.
As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, we were honored to organize and participate in the Walk for Water on April 17th at The Pearl Brewery. The Walk for Water is a symbolic event that replicates the daily experience of millions of people around the world who walk miles to collect clean, safe drinking water for their families. We met in the courtyard at The Pearl on Monday, April 17th at 10:30am for a 3.7 mile walk to raise awareness about the importance of clean drinking water and to raise funds for clean water initiatives.
In addition to participating in the Walk for Water, we are also partnering with Charity: Water to reduce our environmental impact and support clean water projects. Our limited-edition botanical repair™ leave-in treatment is made from 100% ocean-bound plastic resin. $10 of each purchase of our limited-edition botanical repair™ strengthening leave-in treatment will be donated to Charity: Water to provide clean drinking water to families around the world.
We believe that small actions can make a big difference and we are committed to doing our part to protect the environment.
